North Bald Head Wynd Lane Closure/Detour – Starting on 11/17 and over several days, Public Works will be performing tree maintenance on N Bald Head Wynd. They will begin at the intersection of Muscadine Wynd and work their way west toward the marina. Traffic will be detoured to one lane. When they reach the end of N Bald Head Wynd, they will turn around and start on the other side.

Private Alley – There is a private alley between Chicamacomico Way and Currituck Way. All vehicles (including golf carts) are prohibited from passing through this alley.

- E. Moore Street in Southport, near the Deep Point Marina, REOPENED on 7/9/2025! Please be sure to follow the signs to the ferry that go around Turtlewood Subdivision. Our neighbors in Turtlewood do not want ferrygoers to use their streets as a cut-through.
