Road Closures

- 3/25/2025 PM – Public Works has been working on a road repair on Edward Teach Extension near Jailhouse Provisions, the repair is expected to be complete tomorrow (3/26).
- The Timber Bridge will be closed for approximately one week – from March 27 through April 3, 2025, while it is being refurbished. Drivers should use the paved portion of Keelson Row as an alternate route.
MAINLAND ROAD PROJECTS
- N.C. 133 is expected to be closed for several months starting on December 14, 2024. The NCDOT webpage (HERE) has updates and a map of this project.
- E. Moore Street in Southport, near the Deep Point Marina, has been closed since September 2024. According to NCDOT, repairs were scheduled to start on 12/9/24 (view on the NCDOT map HERE).
