Village Parks
The Village owns and maintains four public parks. In addition to offering these recreational amenities, the Village maintains several public beach accesses. A map of accesses can be viewed HERE. Click HERE for information about beach wheelchairs which may be borrowed from the Public Safety Department. The Village parks and beach accesses are maintained by the Public Works Department. If you observe maintenance needs at the parks or public beach accesses, please enter a service request or call 910-457-5422.
NOTICE: The Marina Park dock is now open to the public! The previous dock sustained significant damage during Hurricane Isais. The Village applied for FEMA funding to replace it and a temporary access and floating dock were put in place until the funding and permits were obtained. Now islanders have a larger “t” dock at the park. One side of the “t” is closed temporarily while a handrail the gangway is fabricated, the remainder is now open for all to enjoy!
