Brunswick County Health Services will be administering flu shots on Friday, October 2, 2020. This year, due to COVID-19, they will be given by appointment only and in the bays of the Public Safety Building (park in the back). They will be giving the high dose flu vaccine for those 65 years of age or older and the regular dose of flu vaccine for all ages 6 months and up.
In order to limit contact at check-in, health services would like patients to fill out the paperwork prior to coming to the event. Click HERE for the paperwork for the high dose vaccine. Click HERE for the paperwork for the regular dose vaccine. HERE also is a copy of the Vaccine Information Sheet (VIS). If you do not have a printer, blank copies are available at the front desk in Village Hall. If you have the ability to make copies of your ID and insurance cards, please bring those with you (if not, copies can be made at the event).
For an appointment, please call (910) 253-2356. Please have insurance information ready when you call. For general questions, please call (910) 253-2268. If you make an appointment, please remember to wear a short-sleeve shirt to your appointment. Face coverings are required.
Cost: High dose – $85 Regular Flu – $45
They will accept insurance, Medicare, cash, and checks. There is usually no out of pocket cost for insurance and Medicare. They will not able to accept debit or credit cards.
