Road Closures
For road closures related to Winter Storm Gianna, please check the Brunswick County WebEOC map HERE for real-time reporting. The road closures are based on road access for emergency vehicles and gas-powered vehicles and should not be construed as a reflection of the safety of the roads with the snow and ice conditions related to this storm event. Golf carts will get stuck and/or lose control, and motorists driving them in these conditions will be exposed to extreme cold temperatures until our Public Safety Officers arrive.

Tree Work – Starting in mid-November and over several weeks, Village Public Works crews and the Village’s contractor, Fitness Tree, will be performing tree maintenance along Village right-of-ways. There will likely be some lane closures as they work island-wide.

Private Alley – There is a private alley between Chicamacomico Way and Currituck Way. All vehicles (including golf carts) are prohibited from passing through this alley.
