Ordinances set forth standards that govern an entire community.  They are the written laws of the Village, which have been duly adopted by the Village Council and can be amended or repealed only through the adoption of a new ordinance.

• Commercial Design Standards – Amended July 19, 2024
• Text Amendment Adding Brewery, Cidery, Distillery, Winery, Bar, Tavern, Lounge, Wine Shop and Restaurants, Cafes as a Special Use in the PD-3C District – Adopted October 11, 2024
• An Ordinance Regulating the Lighting of Beach Bonfires – Adopted March 21, 2025
• Ordinance to Amend Commercial-Use Vehicles and Trailers – Adopted September 19, 2025. Current permit holders have until July 1, 2027, to come into compliance.
• An Ordinance to Make Amendments to the Village Residential Yard Debris Removal Program – Adopted January 16, 2026.
