Cell and internet service is down at the EOC. Non-emergency assistance is available at (910) 457-9700 ext. 1027 We are working on getting technicians over to the island as soon as possible to restore service. Middle Island is closed to the public. Trash service is canceled for today. No word on passenger ferries. No updates on power restoration. Photo updates are delayed until we have service. Please be advised that there is still a high risk of rip currents, swimming is not advised.
