The National Weather Service Wilmington office has indicated that an area of low pressure is developing as it moves by the coast which will result in rain and then could change over to snow tonight with precipitation leaving the area by tomorrow (Saturday), little to no accumulation is expected. Gale conditions are possible on all coastal waters tomorrow. Among the coldest temperatures of the winter season thus far are expected tomorrow night with lows in the upper teens to near 20s. These cold temperatures could lead to black ice conditions.
