Beginning this morning (June 6, 2023), the Timber Bridge between North Bald Head Wynd and Keelson Row will be closed for maintenance. Public Works will be cleaning and sealing the wooden decking on the bridge. The work is expected to take about three days and the bridge is expected to reopen on Friday, June 9, 2023. While using the paved portion of Keelson Row as an alternate route, please use extra caution as you may be in the path of vehicles loading/unloading the barge.
UPDATE (Posted 6/9 11:40 AM) : The Timber Bridge is expected to re-open at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
