Bald Head Island Transportation, Inc. has applied for approval of revisions to the regular passenger ferry schedules to 45-minute departures.
The filing was sent to the North Carolina Utilities Commission on Monday, February 19, 2024. The application (HERE) along with the 45-minute proposed summer schedule (HERE) and 45-minute proposed winter schedule (HERE) have been posted on Bald Head Island Transportation, Inc.’s website (baldheadislandferry.com).
Chad Paul, President of Bald Head Island Transportation, Inc. briefed the Village Council on this matter at its February retreat and indicated that no changes are being sought to the contractor ferry schedule. Video recording of the briefing HERE (transportation begins at 28:46).
