Phishing Scams – The Village wants Islanders to be aware that a variety of internet scams are still occurring. This week, several Village contacts received a suspicious email that looked like it was from Mayor Sayre, but it was not. It did not originate from his Village email account or personal accounts. The Village does what it can to filter out these types of messages from coming into the Village’s servers, but little can be done to stop them completely.
