Bald Head Island Public Safety was notified of a possible wanted individual believed to be on Bald Head Island.
Through the swift response and coordinated efforts of Bald Head Island Public Safety, in partnership with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, Southport Police Department, Kure Beach Police Department, and park rangers from Fort Fisher, the individual was successfully located and taken into custody without incident.
This incident highlights the importance of interagency cooperation, effective communication, and the shared commitment of our public safety partners to protecting the communities we serve.
