The repair to the water main has been made. Village Utilities is flushing the line and re-pressurizing the line to resume full service. This will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. The recent water main break has caused an island-wide water outage. Crews are making repairs right now and hoping to restore as soon as possible. Crews indicate it will take a minimum of one hour. The Village has just learned that a watermain has been hit by a construction crew working on the island. Village Utilities is assessing the damage and will proceed promptly with repairs. Some homes have reported no water pressure. Please standby for more information.
